Supporting young people within our organizations
Within the "Train to Transform" collective, several organizations work with young people, including teenagers and young adults, in a variety of contexts.
From December 2022 to February 2024, an online community of practice brought together facilitators from various organizations. Throughout these exchanges, we collectively recognized that despite our varied contexts, we shared common intervention approaches, stances, and support tools. This realization led to this co-production, the result of several sessions of work within the Youth Community of Practice.
In this document, you will find a description of the different intervention contexts of the organizations in the collective that work with young people, as well as our common vision of support, which promotes engagement and participation to strengthen individual and collective empowerment among young people.
Testimonies and inspiring journeys also shed light on these support approaches in Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, and France.
